Tenne – Full-service supplier of Mediterranean tiles, designer bathroom furniture and high-quality sanitary products
An IKARUS success story.
An IKARUS success story.
For over 40 years, Tenne has pursued a clear goal: to give bathrooms a special status as a living space. With a focus on international design, particularly Mediterranean, the company offers its customers countless opportunities to create a bathroom to suit their individual tastes.
Tenne relies on long-term partnerships with leading manufacturers to meet the highest standards of quality and design. As an established family business, trust and handshake quality play a central role. In addition to first-class advice and uncompromising quality, Tenne also offers fair prices.
For customers who want to realise their dream bathroom from a single source, the company offers a comprehensive all-round service: from personal advice and detailed planning with modern 3D bathroom planning programs to delivery and installation on the agreed date with the help of long-standing partners. To experience the products at first hand, interested parties can visit the showrooms in Graz, Vienna, Vösendorf and Leibnitz and be inspired.
In our digitally connected world, the security of customer data is an essential part of Tenne’s philosophy. Ever since the first contact with IKARUS six years ago, the company has taken great care to ensure that all customer data – from simple contact information to complex home design data – is optimally protected. Customers trust that their data will not fall into the ‘wrong’ hands. In addition to securing internal data, protection from external threats such as email is also a critical factor.
In the six-year collaboration, 52 licences for IT security solutions from IKARUS were initially implemented. Installation was quick and smooth.
Harald Pein, Sales manager at Tenne, looks back with satisfaction: “The whole installation and setup process was simple and straightforward. The IKARUS team worked quickly and competently”.
Continuous improvement of internal processes is an integral part of Tenne’s daily work. In addition to working with an external administrator, the company also uses virtual servers to provide flexible and secure data management. Another focus is on regular staff training. This ensures that the team knows how to deal with suspicious email attachments and potential security risks, for example. The combination of modern technology and trained staff creates a safety net that gives both customers and employees confidence. And if there is a problem that cannot be solved internally, “the IKARUS support team will be able to solve the problem quickly”, Harald Pein is convinced.
Looking ahead, Tenne is keeping a close eye on how technologies such as OneDrive, cloud solutions and artificial intelligence (AI) will impact IT security. The rapid development of such systems brings both opportunities and risks. Hackers are also taking advantage of the latest technologies, resulting in a constant race between attack and defence strategies.
“Our goal is to continue to grow together with IKARUS in the area of virus protection”, said Christoph Goritschnig, Marketing manager at Tenne. “We want to develop in such a way that we can meet the digital challenges of the future with as few incidents as possible. Working with an Austrian company was and is particularly important to us.”
